Flushing outdoor plants

I really don't care if this is a face palm question my mind and body are so trashed today.
I was wondering how, or DO, people flush outdoor plants? I've never heard of it but I was thinking what's the difference between flushing the nutrients from the Earth and flushing store bought nutrients? I'd think not flushing an outdoor plant would give you the same result as not flushing indoors. Or is Mother Nature just so awesome that her nutrients don't need flushing? My plants are 2 1/2 months old and I gave them FoxFarm Grow Big for their first month, they haven't had anything since, just nutes from the ground

Its not AS bad outdoor but it does affect it. They have flushing agents that help a lot especially outdoors where you have a huge area to try and flush as much as possible...But, just not feeding and flooding the area several times a week before harvest helps...Its not as bad outdoors becuz you are feeding like a large area rather than a small solo cup so the nutrients aren't as concentrated in the soil. But yea just a simple hose down a few times a week is what I've done and it seems to work fine...I honestly don't know what people recommend but thats what I do or have done.

Oh ok thanks, that's how I was thinking of doing it.
Does anyone know how many gallons it takes it flush an average outdoor plant? For security reasons I'll probably have to bring a 2 gallon pump sprayer to them.
