The Purps

soil
fed with guano's, seaweed concentrate and B1 with Foxfarm big bloom as a foliar.
anyway my purps seeds got in yesterday so i put together my clone cab to start them in. right now i just have two 45 watt CFL lights in there but i will be upgrading to T5 when i get some flow.
i got 14 Purps beans in my pack and they are sitting in some paper towel germinating at the moment.

so 10 of the purps sprouted overnight 
 
the sprouts are sooo much smaller then my gods where like at 3x smaller. its kind of cute lol.

so another week has passed. These girls are growing up nicely. though they seem to be stretching a bit and i am not liking the gaps between nodes. cant tell if this is just because they are a sativa dom or because they are under CFL though its most likely its just unfortunate blend of the two. They are only 2 weeks old now so once i get around to training they should bush out nicely in the end anyway.

oh i know. im super stoked. ive heard nothing but great things about this strain and have yet to try it. figured its gotta be worth the time after winning a couple cannabis cup awards and taking home the sativa cup last year.

I like your clone cab, exactly what I wanted to do with a similar cabinet someday you got it setup nice! the grow journals are like a candystore everytime I visit I wanna add more to my wishlist including the tasty strains

lol i know its terrible. especially for someone like me who just loved buying shit online. if my wife wasnt here i swear id be up to my ears in credit card debt due to all the cool shit i see everyone else getting
and thanks, the cabs gonna be way sweeter once i get a full sized shelf in there and switch over to 4 lamp T5's

So i am long overdue for an update. i was recently gifted some lemon skunk clones and 5 blueberries(and have taken 2 cuttings off each one of them) so my total population in the clone cab is 10 purps, 10 blueberry cuttings, 6 God bud clones and 3 lemon skunk clones.

its been about a week. my original blueberry cuttings have rooted and are in pots. i started super cropping the purps in order to turn them into fat little bushes, seems to be going well. though i pinched too hard on one of them and snapped a stem 
heres some pics
 
and the moms are blueberry, God, Lemon skunk in order from left to right.

so now i am down to 8 ladies and just took 16 clones a couple days ago. I totally spaced out and forgot to remove the lid from the jiffy tray though and ran into some cobwebs (fungus not mites) on the jiffy plugs. scraped it off and hopefully they will turn out okay. if not i will need to take more clones in a few weeks, no biggy.
they are starting to really fill up the space now and i am just waiting for my other girls to finish up so i can flower these bitches.
and all my other clones are doing fan fucking tastic. i will get pics up later. the camera is dead again.

so my purps started flowering today which has me stumped because they are under 24/h of CFL. i am really kicking myself now cause after pulling the males i would have been under my count and could have let my gods finish up......FML
anyway this strain is not supposed to be an autoflower and to boot all the cloning attempts i have tried with it have failed miserable (they root great but as soon as you take them out of the humidome they just start wilting and die) so i dont know wtf to say about this strain.
is there anything i can do other then sit on my hands and hope they will revert back into a veg state?
or should i throw them under the hps and hope i get something decent off them?

somewhere in the middle. the males had the nuts clearly defined and the females had their little cross hairs poking out. I snipped off all the flowering branches and took them down to lower nodes that wherent showing signs. good thing is if it works i will have many more shoots for clones later
ill know in a week or so if it worked.

i forgot to post that i have sexed them since the picture was taken. now i have 3 purps moms, 2 blueberry moms, 2 god moms and 2 lemon skunk moms. all of which are gonna just keep vegging until i get my full room put together.
hopefully by the time the room is done i will be able to take 100+ cuttings from the group. i really cant wait to see how these purps turn out.

i did not save any males unfortunately. these girls will make great moms for years to come and right now im in no position to be working on genetics. i just dont have the space or time to dedicate to a breeding project right now.
and that should be an interesting run if you decide to do it.

lol i actually still havent flipped them yet. i have a friend dropping off a 1000w kit tommorow so im gonna be throwing 2 of them under it with 2 gods and a blueberry. just something to kill time with until all my gear comes in for the full flower room.
