are on the rebound baby
Guards- Baron Davis coupled with rookie, phenom, #1 overall pick Kyrie Irving aka the next Chris Paul. Although with the overpaid Daniel Gibson on the roster, I would like to see the Cavs try to shop one of their guards. They also have a talented 2nd year player out of Michigan by the name of Manny Harris. Sticking around for another season is sharp-shooter Anthony Parker and 25 year old talent Ramon Sessions. Cleveland certainly has the back court to run with any team in the East.
Forwards- They made it clear in the draft that's where we needed help. Spending 3 of 4 picks on Forwards but landing some good talent. Draft pick Tristan Thompson was a bit of a reach for the #4 overall pick, but with a 7'2'' wingspan and his ability to score and rebound, he could end up being a player similar to Louis Scola. The much underrated big man, JJ Hickson sticks around as does All-Star Antwaan Jamison and Anderson Varejo. Another rookie to see if he makes the team is foreign player Milan Macvan
Center- This is still our biggest area of weakness, but there is free agency and I like the name David West. Semih Erden could develop into a very good post player also. At 6'11'', 240lbs. If he can increase his shot percent and put on another 10-20lbs he could be very good. Ryan Hollins, the 7 footer out of UCLA might finally be ready for his breakout season now that he has a pair of talented point guards and other scoring threats around him
How did your team do in the draft?
Paw, this thread was for you.

The Rockets biggest concern is still the health of Yao Ming, but the team has made moves in case injuries have cost the big man his career. Houston used their first choice in the draft on Marcus Morris from Kansas. Morris played power forward for the Jayhawks, but it looks like he will be moved to the small forward position in the NBA. Morris is very good on the offensive end, but his defense could limit his playing time as a rookie.
The Rockets acquired the 20th overall choice, Donatas Motiejunas, in a trade with Minnesota. The Lithuanian center is 6' 11" and provides the Rockets with a center in case Ming does not return. Motiejunas will need to add some muscle, but has the skills needed to succeed.
The Rockets selected Chandler Parsons from Florida with their second round choice. Parsons plays the small forward position and some experts had him moving into the first round. At 6' 10" he has very good size and will be an asset on defense, the biggest question is his shooting as he never averaged over 13 points per game in college.
To many forwards and not one decent center

The Cavs are on the rebound and now OSU is going down the shitter. Seems to be the sports luck of us in Ohio. :/
