Trying to sell this Jewelry stand on craigslist. Mom got it for free so we don't know too much about it.

Thats a nice looking unit. You should be able to get a decent price. Include as many details as you can. Is it solid wood or veneer? How many drawers have dividers? Do you have the key to lock it and do all the drawers lock?

I was thinking at least $100, but local markets vary a lot. I know I could get that where I live. If it is solid wood, your talking like 5x that.
Then again if you ask that you risk sitting on it for a long time, so you can just sell it off cheap to know it will go.

Damn I would snatch that up for $50.
One more tip- take new photos of it up against a wall with nothing else in the shot, the pictures are not very good.

I think you're a little confused. You can have solid wood items that are cheap still, it really depends on the market when the wood was purchased and if it was handcrafted or machine cut. I could very easily see that being $120 even being solid wood.
I have a solid Cherry dining room table with flame finish that was only $85 and it's beautiful.

I am in woodworking. Either way it is machine cut, what matters is if it was handcrafted or made in a factory in china. I highly doubt it is easy to find solid wood furniture for those kind of prices, only in America I suppose. Hardwoods are so expensive now I can hardly see how even a factory could turn a profit on something that cheap made of solid wood.
