COD has gotten slightly stale now. on black ops i spent so much more time playing zombies than on multiplayer.
so maybe its time i checked out battlefield, i think i played the demo of the first or second, but i wasnt overly impressed so i stuck with COD.
whats the multiplayer been like on the previous BFs

I play battlefield bad company 2 more right now than anything else. It's a squad based game with 4 people in a squad and up to 16 people on a team (32 for BF3 I heard, PC at least). There are 4 classes: Assault (assault rifle w/ attachments, ammo box to refill your/others ammo), engineer (SMG, rocket launchers/mines, tool kit to repaid vehicles), medic (LMG, med pack to heal self/team, defibilator to revive fallen teammates), and recon (sniper, motion sensors, C4, mortor strikes).
There are also some weapons like the shotguns that any class can use. All sorts of tanks, copters, boats/jetskis, humvees etc. The major gametypes played are conquest which is like terrortories from Halo. There are 3/4 areas your team can control and depending on how many you control you get a certain ammount of points for kills. Rush is another one which is an offense/defense type gametype where the offense tried and plant explosives on critical equipment and all that jazz. Each has it's plus, but I play conquest mostly.
THere is deathmatch as well, but conquest is really the way to go IMO.

it does sound a lot more immersive and exciting than COD. Now COD just seems to be mainly about obsessively going up ranks and unlocking weapons, instead of actually having fun playing the game, although the campaigns have always impressed me.
i really am considering choosing BF3 over MW3 at the moment. is there a demo due out for either of these games?

They package nothing but fucking gold. WoW aside.
Even after their merger with Activision, I still expect nothing but awesome from them.

I owned every warcraft game, and they were just as quality as the others. War3's only problem was balancing 4 races.
But I was really in it for the custom games in the end. Thats the same thing I kept playing SC for after I hung up the mouse and keyboard.

Its a controller. They didn't announce the console because they don't have a proper unit probably. The controller i would guess works with the Wii and the Wii U console. The controller has no function other than being a mini tv screen with built in controls. THe console will transfer the image wirelessly to the controler so the player can play off of the controller screen.

I was suppose to go but had to sell my tickets because i was off contract(i work in the industry) but now that im reemployed i totally regret selling them.
BF3 is going to be amazing. I'd suggest if your computer is powerful enough get it for PC! this baby will look amazing with a highend graphics card!

Yea, I understand the Nintendo thing now. Theres pics leaked throughout the interwebs of the console.
I'm probably just gonna go for the PS Vita instead. That looks pretty boss.
