Military jobs don't contribute to the economy because it's public sector. When the military personnel spend our tax dollars overseas they help foreign economies though.

Taking away 2,000 soldiers jobs is no different than taking away 2,000 call center jobs.
They certainly do contribute to the economy. They own houses and vehicles and buy groceries just like everyone else does.

Yeah, but because the military is entirely funded by taxes it's actually other people who have to pay for all the things they buy. It's different from private sector jobs.

That's a very simpleton way of looking at it. "Oh I bought his candy bar." No, he worked for it the same way you work at a job. It's just that he works for the government so his money comes from the government. The government generates revenue by taxation.
Anyways, it's a dumb and really irrelevant argument

My oldest sister is married to a Seal, and the navy pays for their housing and all sorts of stuff. I dont know much about it, but Nothing Is is kinda correct.

My whole family has served. I am aware of how the military service works. Yes they will provide you with housing ON-Base, but you dont own it. You are simply living there while you serve. They also give you health coverage.

yeah they will give you a housing stipend on top of your salary. Base salary is only 1,300$ per month. So they need to provide money for housing and medical even for people who choose to live off- base.

That's the problem with spice or one of the other names it goes by. You really don't know what your smoking. It just depends on how it's made. I stay away from it.
