So I found a working Roessta Stone torrent so I don't have to pay like 500 dollars (fuck that noise), but now I'm at a loss which language I should learn first.
I'm leaning towards spanish or mandarin because I believe them to be the most prevalent languages in regards to the future of the world.

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

That is actually what I take, very helpful for learning other languages as well as expanding your English vocabulary
If I had Rosetta Stone I would probably take Italian, Mandarin, Russian or French. (in that order)

Latin is pretty hard though, I learned some. It's not bad to learn though,

All depends on what type of learner you are. If you are good at memorizing and learning simple rules (like what kind of ending goes at the end of words) then Latin is actually relatively easy to learn.
Ive taken Latin for 3 years and have always gotten an A or a B, but I find Spanish hard because it doesnt have the same structure as Latin does. I much prefer concrete rules that are only rarely broken or changed.
Plus the Romans are cool as fuck to learn about

Unless I was going to try and join the Vatican there wouldn't be much practical use to being able to speak Latin though.

Latin isnt a spoken language.
It's a language for scholars. It has many practical uses. All of the romantic languages come from Latin, so a lot of the words are the same. Spanish, Italian, English, Portuguese, and French all have roots in Latin.
Also, Latin is very helpful to mastering the English language. A lot of law terms are stated in Latin, Medical terms come derived from Latin roots, in general you would be surprised how much Latin can help you.
And at least for me. I loved taking a language that I didnt have to actually speak. That is one less aspect of the language that you have to master. It is nice just having to read and write the language.

I speak French though Spanish probably would've been more useful. But I like French as a language more.
Chinese would be great but good luck learning it. Really I don't see it happening unless you actively interact with real people who speak chinese, as helpful as rosetta stone is I don't see someone learning mandarin from the program alone.

you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.

If you learn spanish, french will be a lot easier to learn after, and its the same if you learn french first, since its a Latin based language. Also, spanish is really a beautiful dialect and it isn't that hard to learn.
