I was just smoking a bowl thinking, is there any chance that if re-elected Obama might try and legalize marijuana nation wide? Or would there be too much controversy that the first black president legalized a schedule one substance?
What do you think?

The mere title of this thread is an oxymoron. No he wont legalize because it's not his decision alone. There are very old senators and congressmen and very old money working very hard to keep things just the way they are. Alcohol and Tobacco and Big Pharmacy don't want to compete with weed so they spend lots of money to keep it illegal, all while standing on the soap box of morality just hidden from view.
Yet the IRS cashes tax checks from dispensaries.

You do have to give him credit though. Raids on dispensaries have significantly decreased since he took office.
