Classic(s) thread - Music from the summer of love to the end of an era in the late seventies.
    #557776 - 05/23/11 08:23 PM (13 years, 7 months ago)

almost 15 years of what i'd consider the prime "meat" of one epoch of musical progression and innovation.

here is a joint to kick off the thread... from England, the band is Camel.

if you don't know about them,... here is your fuckin' chance, finally, considering they are hugely popular, as far this era's progressive rock (71').

this is Unevensong from the album Rain Dances.

enjoy.

i don't want people randomly posting tracks to one-up one another... i want people to listen and comment. anything will do... (you should comment on what you are listening to; or at least when you want to post something, try listening to the song posted last or at least stick around and find song to listen to and/or comment about. participate.)

i love all those english bastards! you ever heard any soft machine? they toured with jimi hendrix, in england, in 68'... not everyone remembers that. the soft machinewas awesome too! :awesome: and had ties with Caravan which the keyboardist for is also the lead keys for Camel with someother dude on guitar, that they worked with too.

THEY ALL WORKED IN ONE CROWD MAN, and produced SOO much much awesome music. :crazy2:

this is like one of my favorite Camel songs, it sounds like Konomi's Gradius games, mixed with immensely awesome instrumentals and a wicked compostion.

kinda cheesy lyrics but... it's still so awesome.
