i dont know what the fuck it is to be honest.
the string on the top of the instrument are thick so they put out more of a bass tone but i dont think its a bass cuz they're like at an angle. dude's badass though. i put another video of him online last night in tsl in one of these threads.

I knew immediately that it would be andy McKee, lulz.
Here are, IMO, the two most talented musicians alive right now.
the first one is Chris Thile, he's the definition of Virtuoso, he can play this well on almost any instrument you can hand him. the second video of him is just mind blowing. This is a song he wrote for his wife, but in this performance, almost half of what he's playing is improv.... fucking phenomenal musicianship
And then, Stevie Wonder... the ultimate badass of talent.

that dude Chris Thile is a beast. you ever tried to play a mandolin? shit is not easy. that second song is really good too.
stevie wonder is a monster too. i used to jam with a blind guy on 12 string guitars. one of my dad's friends.
