i always do this when the sun is out. Not very often for seattle. I love solar tokes. The greatest thing in the world. The flavor is so much better in my mind. I do have a bowl that i only smoke from while solar toking. Most of the black powder crap on your pipes and bowls is from butane lighters.

I have smoked from a soldering iron...which was complete garbage since everything burned so damn fast and stuck to the tip. Also smoked from an old computer. Was one i was tossing, took some ground up bud tossed it on top of the cpu in little aluminum bowl and let it heat up. Sucked the smoke through a straw. Worked so so. Got a little high.

If you were willing to turn that soldering iron into a vape you could do that fairly well.

I don't have the guide but it's a fairly common tek (as far as teks to create vape's go that is).
