Religion and Science can not exist together forever. God only exists within the gaps science can not yet test.
I find the scientific explanation much more interesting and relevant than any fantastical bible story.

the scientific explanation is far more beautiful, and in my opinion its a long time before religion is gone, religion has always just explained what science couldnt understand, as it still does,
ancient civilizations used to believe plagues were caused by gods, when they were really caused by bacterium and virus' which we can explain today with science, its no different today, only we have way fewer gaps and even the few gaps there are , we now know it isnt logical to assume a "god" is causing them
its basic elementary science, and some may bring up, "the bible teaches good morals, values etc religion is good blah blah" yet these morals and values can be taught without the fear of punishment after death, which is completely wrong, and evil..
a world without religion would be a much more peacfeful world
im high

The bible doesn't even actually teach good morals if you examine some of the shit in there.

bible says, earth is less than 10,000 years old
bible is instantly less credible than using youtube comments as a reference for a scientific paper

I think God is just a mathematical algorithm for everything. Does that make me a theist?

Religion! Where to start?
How bout I don't! But I will say, religious or athiest, I can not stand a person who seems to try to force their belief onto another. Who knows what to think about religion? I have been on both sides of the fence actually. Neither one is proven fact.
But I am pretty sure we all have our opinion on this subject and all believe in something. Btw, the big bang "theory" so far is just that, a theory! Not a fact. But since u all like definitions here,........
the·o·ry -noun, plural -ries 1. group of propositions used as principles to explain a class of phenomena 2. proposed explanation 3. the branch of a field of knowledge that deals with its principles rather than its practice. From dictionary.com

"what did this religious nut job with his own interpretation of an ancient book just burn into your mind ?"
that would be a more fitting question, children at that age don't believe one way or another because they aren't capable of critical thinking at that age,

Yea, that's the religious version of Smurf and Harlz.
Note how they directly insult opposing beliefs and only support their own?
My church even talks bad about evolution. I'm pretty sure as far as we are concerned it exists.
I've had talks about evolution with my pastor before during midweek school i think.

harlz, you realize you are doing the exact same thing as him. Just on the opposite side of the argument though.

If your church denies evolution then I am fucking ashamed
most have at least had the intelligence to piggyback onto the theory and say god inspired it, but even that is fallacious

typical religious nut response
"you've countered every shred of logic I have
now I will stick my fingers in my ears and start shouting"
I was never once uncivil, I wasn't trolling, I have a strong opinion on the subject and I believe it! and evidence, I don't see a need for religion AT ALL.
also what I am doing is not the same, I say look at the evidence think critically,
he says, deny evidence, we are right, they are wrong... exact opposite of what I am doing, exact opposite of critical thinking

I clearly stated my church doesn't deny it. I think you need to learn some reading comprehension bro.
You think you have me mad, but all i know is you are disrespectful and won't respect my right to believe whatever the hell i want. I'm not telling you to believe what i do so how about you stop trying to do that.
I really think your life must be pretty pathetic if you're willing to just try to disprove god to someone and trying to troll.
You are indeed trolling and any attempt to say differently is whole heartily a lie.
Also, I could kick your ass so be quiet please.
and now.
