ofcourse its fucking hard, you think getting off the massive amounts of drugs you do will be easy, itll be worth it though believe that. those experience you had on the drugs will always be with you, and will actually integrate there way in your life still, dude Im still struggling with abuse, but I dont shoot dope, smoke crack, eat massive amounts of pills, drink gallons of booze, and trip so much I dont even remember weeks at a time anymore... youll actually learn to love and live life again, remember its on you, I cant make you, no one can, I can only help you along the way

I know what I'm sayin is harsh but its true, heres something Ill add thats not so harsh but also true, your a great fucking dude man, your smart, and you have the ability to lighten up the mood and put other people in a good mood, you just need to start growin up, U got it pretty fuckin good right now, it would only get better if you get off all the shit, and youll actually have a real accomplishment under your belt, not saying you havnt accomplished things, you have even though youve been so strung, just imagine what you could do with that shit taking a place in your mind all the time, I know if you take it seriously and quit youll get a lot of congrats from a lot of people and will have something to feel proud of, it may even bring you to tears, fuck u stay sober for 6 months I will personally fly down to cali and throw a fucking party for you, bitches, and beer, and food, and ill even grow a strain and name it coasty's get well bud

man I've been in and outa jails, mental hospitals and rehab... it started in highschool, smokin weed everyday, drinkin and doin blow on weekends, then psychs, and after I couldnt cope with some very bad trips I turned to dope and pills and booze to numb the memory's and flashbacks, along with more acid thinking that maybe another trip would make it all right again, maybe it would put me back together, well it doesnt, nothin can but you, and the choices you make for yourself at this very moment and later on through out the rest of your life, I'm tryin to paint a picture for you and it isnt a pretty one, Ive been through the fucking ringer, Ive seen some shit that will fucking scare a war veteran, it might be too late for me, I've lost my mind and still havnt found it, but I think with some time and good habits replacing the bad itll come back,

had my first drink at 15, by 19 I was shootin smack everyday, kicked outa the house, and making a consistent appearance, at the local jail and hospital, rehab did jack shit to help, only thing that helped was I realized I cant be like this anymore, and that it wasnt who I was, so now Im just tryin to find myself again now Im 22 and Im livin at moms, gotta job, still smoke pot and drink occasionally, and once in a blue moon a mushroom trip, but I know Im stronger today, and as long as those bad memories arnt forgotten, Ill be to scared to touch that shit again, it took 7 fucking years for me to realize I woulda been better off without any of it, and that maybe id be somewhere better in life right now, but I dont let it get me down, Im just happy Im still standing on this rock

I don't think anyone goes about their drug use thinking they're right on the edge of going over. Most people are comfortable in thinking they have control of the situation. The edge is a blur. You only know it's there when it's too late and you go over.

I can certainly understand how it could be scary, but I honestly think after a couple months you'll LOVE it. The world is so fucking beautiful man, get out there and see it. Take up hiking, playing an instrument, find a hobby or something. I honestly LOVE sobriety in certain situations. Come out here and we'll climb a 14er together. When you're standing at 14,000 feet above sea level after an intense 5 hour hike looking down on the entire world, you feel like you're tripping fucking face but it's 100000000 times more gratifying because you didn't just pop a pill to get there, you fucking accomplished something.

The tricks gonna be to just keep yourself occupied. If you're sitting infront of the PC all day, why not be high as fuck.
Do something that requires you to concentrate, and is entertaining. Build something? Work on it and soon enough you won't even remember you wanted drugs in the first place.
Or, if you're into video games, get one with a good story you can focus on.

Like I said you will know when its time. I had to go through it also just to get it out of my system. Took a few years till I decided I was ready. Still party hard but not everyday anymore. It's not so much about quiting its more about being resonsible. Never really quit I just know theres a time and place for everything.

You're right, I don't really understand because I HAVE self control. its about not doing them every day for no reason. why just smoke meth, to smoke meth? why trip on LSD with nothing to do? why get fucked up, just to get fucked up?
i plan what i do now around events. when a sick dub show is coming to town, me and my friends go all out. sick hotel room, bad ass show, and the right drugs for the situation.
but in between the events we plan around, we dont do anything any more.
i had to get over the I WANT TO GET FUCKED UP part of my life, and just do it when it seems right.
i think getting fucked up, just to get fucked up has some other hidden agenda. hiding from something, numbing something out, etc.
shit get a hobby man.

all a hobby is, is just affirmation of a healthy mind; as taking in things all the time is unbalanced and unhealthy. but it's just running around and hiding all the same.
