 Staying active while stoned

Hey there, I've been limiting my smoking to weekends because I can't seem to get things done otherwise.
This weekend I did nothing but play video games, read a little, eat and loaf around on the interwebs. Feel like I wasted it.
How do you stay active/get motivated to do stuff while stoned?
Or is it simply better to only smoke at night?

I think once you've been smoking everyday for a year or two you kinda take it in stride. I've gotten to the point where I'll wake up and have 3-4bongs, grab something to eat then continue smoking throughout the day, and if I need to do something, I can still be motivated enough to get up and do if I've been smoking since I woke up.
I guess my tolerance is kinda messed up, but as I said, once you've been smoking every day for over a year or two you can reach that stage where if you need to duck out and run some errands you can have a few sneaky bongs to keep you going just before you leave
Stoned ramblings aside,
I guess its up to priorities. If you know that after a few hits you're on the ground drooling, don't smoke up just before something important. Or, build your tolerance high enough so you can walk out the door exhaling and still get shit done.

if i dont want to sit around all day after smoking i usually just blaze while im out walking the dog or out on my bike.
once im out and about i dont want to be indoors anyway, esspecially if the weather is good.
but i mainly smoke at night anyway
and as the saying goes, time you enjoy wasting is not wasted.

I dunno. If I'm smoking and don't have anything to do, it bothers me. I much prefer to go out for a walk, have a toke, walk around checking shit out and come home after.
Not so fun by yourself though. So, when I'm toking alone its usually at home, right infront of the video games too haha.

I usually smoke every day before classes, my motivation is knowing if I don't go I'll keep not wanting to go and fail out from bad attendance and a low amount of lecture time.
Watching my chem II class dwindle down to 6 people while I'm high everyday provides me with enough lulz to get to school though. Literally droped 3 people in 1 chapter right before spring break.

I suppose it's also the quantity you smoke, just had a small toke and feeling fine, not too lazy or big of an appetite.

Honestly I kind of blame their highschool for making them think it was ok to slack off (at least that was my problem). God to college, failed a semestor; realized this shit aint free and forced myself not to smoke for like a year before class. After that year i just slowly introduced weed back in, and now I'm a productive pot smoker.

This is a hard problem to solve. My only suggestion is to start out by doing all your important things in a day first and then getting stoned........ or just plan to do less beforehand if you have a low tolerance.
Some strains of marijuana are just not conducive to hard work or challenging activities though.

I smoke at night, Kinda my chill time. I get outta work and hit the gym, then come home do some school and then chillaxxx. I usually rent a movie from red box, chill with the lady and smoke.

I believe it has alot to do with strain.
I personally have noticed that if I wake and bake my day is shot!
If I wait till lunch time or at least a couple hours after waking and let my head clear from the day before, i'm usually good to go. But i also have a high tolerance and it takes me more then most to get good and stoned. I also have conditioned myself to working stoned over the past 25 years or so.
