How much longer do you think these guys have? The one in the back has suffered a little nute burn I think, but it's buds are beginning to turn purple ^_^

Noooo, not ready. 2-3 weeks IMO, but I always harvest too early.

How many weeks into flowering are you by now?
They're definately not ready. The hairs are still white, and the trichomes haven't colored and matured fully.
Once I know how far in you are, I can give you a number. I got a feeling that 2-4 weeks is what you need to wait. Have you started to flush them yet?

Some people do a 3 week flushing, you should probably be OK.
How long you been flushing for?
Light nutes for another week probably wouldn't hurt too much. Then a 2 week flush and maybe it'll be ready then.

No, you should be fine. 11, 12 weeks is a pretty common finishing time, and even 13 couldn't hurt if they HAD to. But the buds only get so big, ya know? 2-4 weeks of flushing will be fine, you'll have a nice clean tasting harvest. Enjoy!
Oh, I almost forgot. Instead of light nutes like suggested ^^, use backstrap molasses. It feeds the plant with carbohydrates instead of the NPK so it won't leave a chemical taste to the buds and you can still extent the feeding cycle a little.

Ok guys I think I'm gonna have to take the one in the back the brown, dried up section of the leaves is encroaching on the bud...is this ok or should I chop it down?

Is it always that close to the light, or is that just for the pic?
I would let it go ass long as I could until the dead leaves reach the bud. That bud still needs some more time, but you may not have more than a few days. Did you flush to early?
I say take it day by day.

most strains will finish no latter than 10 weeks flowering unless your growing a pure sativa strain. most hybrid or pure indica's won't take more than 9 weeks to fully flower, though i have found the best way to tell is with a magnifing glass and look at the tricombs, when about 10% of the tricombs are discolored(not clear anymore, more a brown or light golden color) its time to harvest.more than 10% Discolored tricombs indicate that the flowers are over maturing and are losing potentcy.

Yes on trich's they should be starting to turn amber. But agmotes, I thought you have done this before? I was pretty sure I watched an led grow of yours?

I have, and I know how to look for the trichome color change and all that jazz...my biggest issue is that the brown crunchiness on the leaves was beginning to get too close to the bud itself...so I was confused as to whether i should harvest early or just deal with brown crunchy bits in my bud.
peace, agmotes165

In that case, plenty plenty water for now, like lots. And when the brown does get to the bud, chop and trim and call it drying. You dont want dead leaf past where you can trim, it's easier for mold to form in those areas while drying.

You can use a small amount of nutrients with the water (like 5%) without sacrificing taste.

^You can, but using backstrap molasses is better. Its essentially the same carbohydrates the plant would manufacture using NPK and the plant can use it as food. But the plant will be nitrate free as it should be. The nutrients don't just add bad taste and rough smoke, they also can be harmful in the smoke.
