Seed root growing vertically through the surface

Ok this is only my second grow. I germinated and planted a bubba kush seed about 4 or 5 days ago. The other times I would plant a seed, you wouldn't see anything for a little while and then all of a sudden the stem and leafs would appear sticking out of the soil.
Well this time instead of that happening, its the other way around. The root is growing straight out of the soil, and it keeps growing vertically. I don't know if thats normal or what
Now I did some research and a few people said that when a seed is properly positioned the root grows towards the surface until it loops back down which pushes the seed toward and out of the surface where it then sprouts and proceeds to grow normally. I'm not sure if thats correct either.
So my question is, is it right to leave it alone and let it do its thing, or should I replant it?

I'd do my best to gently replant that.

Thanks thats what I was thinking. I was just surprised that it kept growing into the open air, and growing so fast at that.

if it gets a couple or so inches tall and leaves are still stuck inthe husk then maybe try and remove it.

Yeah I gently slid it out of the soil and it had already shed the seed, it has little yellow leaves. I just put it under the light.
I find it funny how it was basically growing upside down . So much for the root pushing the seed up and out of the surface..
