Bad economy has always meant high ticket prices, rarely do they ever drop back down either.

I've bought several concert tickets for this year.  Tool was about 90$, deftones $35, deftones 75$ (this is a VIP pass to the soundcheck too and some other shit too), ott and phutureprimitive w/ alex grey $45, Everyone Orchestra $35, Primus with the flaming lips performing dark side of the moon entirety (at red rocks ampitheater) $55.  Tool seems to be the most expensive ticket of all the shows ive got going on or have had in the past.  What shows are you talking about Dr?

idk those are all pretty cheap to me.  not the tool tickets but all the others.  it's only going to get worse.

Wow, I'd like to see their soundcheck.  Primus and the Flaming Lips doing DSOTM at red rocks would be badass too.

You do know you'll need pics of both right?

Why did I  up there?  :wtf::facepalm:

There are two of them.  The first one is in four weeks in denver.  The second one is the last show of the tour in San fran in june.  i forget the venues.  the VIP pass is for the san fran show.  my buddy got a 'meet and greet' VIP pass.  I guess he gets to have a little chat iwth the band and shit, plus the sound check.

  you must be talking about buying them from a scalper!  God you should have seen us Friday morning.  There were 5 of us in a hotel room at 10 am.  All of us trying to use our phones (both the internet on phone and the phone itself) and computers in order to get APC tickets all across the country.  It was stressful as fuck!  but we all got everything we wanted.  The tickets weren't that much though.  You have to get those kinds of tickets through the proper channels right when they are released though.  otherwise you'll pay an assload.

the tickets probably pale in comparison to the thousands i have spent just going to all those cities.  plane travel is expensive.  I can tell you that I have traveled 13,000 miles just to see tool.  that's over 8 years and 16 shows.
