Phish Festival 8!

So one week from now I will be in Cali for probably the highlight of my year. For those who don't know, Phish will be putting on their first festival since getting back together. It will be at the Empire polo fields in Indio California.
Is anyone else going? I am flying in from a far off state and decided on a hotel package. Camping would be fun but its not in the cards this time. It is going to be my first trip to the west coast and I am pumped about sampling the best of Cali.
Phish + Halloween + Harvest Season = ????

Nice!
That's interesting actually.....I am waiting to purchase my tickets for an upcoming show. Though it will be indoors and not a 3 day or more festival. I got up at 3am this morning to drive 2 hrs to the ticket office to get a "raffle" bracelet. They are gonna draw a number and sell the tickets in sequential order after that number. Guess they can only fit 8,000 in where the concert is at. Wish me luck!
Enjoy the festival in cali. I went to their last big festival in Coventry, Vermont.(the last show before they "retired") It was an experience of a lifetime to say the least...I will carry it with me the rest of my life.

Coventry was a disaster but a very significant experience for many. I went to IT which was the fest a few years before. Many consider it their last real fest because of how everything went down at Coventry. Im looking forward to this fest being on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. It is plush and comfy, no mud or traffic. I think it shows how both the band and fans have matured. Many of us are older now and the years of carefree touring are behind us. Its nice to be able to hit a fest but at the same time stay in a resort, hit the pools in the morning or grab a few holes of golf before heading down to the grounds.
One of the nicest things about the hotel im at is the 24 hour shuttle to and from the grounds.

Well yeah ...I see where you're coming from. They were a little off. The last set was pretty emotional. I think it was such an experience for me because at the time I thought it was the last show I would see.
So you were actually at coventry?
What do you think of JOY

Celine Deon probably is better than Phish. But ok if you want me to give examples of who is better and has more talent. The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Radio Moscow, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, The Flaming Lips, The Beatles, Rage Against The Machine, The Doors, Sublime, The Brain Jonestown Massacre, The Dig Angees, etc.

If you dislike Phish so much get out of the thread and quit trolling this isn't the dome.
Not everyone shares in your opinion.

Phish untalented? Uhhhhh, gonna call bullshit on that one. Not a fan really of them, but to call them untalented is just a crock of shit.
At any rate, would love to attend this if it wasn't 1,200 miles away.

I don't know, I think you're assuming a lack of talent out of not liking their style of music. I mean, they're clearing all very technically skilled at their respective instruments; if you don't call that some degree of talent, then I don't know what talent is. Care to elaborate on their untalentedness instead of leaving it at a matter of opinion?
