Thanks man!!!! I worked damn hard to get them that way.
i think the grain is just about perfect as far as water content is concerned. The jars aren't full of moisture either. So im thinking that at 80 degrees it may take another couple weeks. I'm not rushing this one too much. I'm actually going to be gone in early april so I may wait until after then to do my spawn run. I reread the mushroom cult bible the other day. So I refreshed my knowledge a bit. Slow going here. Thanks to everyone who's taken a look thus far! I really appreciate the encouragement.

It's been 13 days since inoculation. There was quite a bit of real growth going on in some of the jars. They've been colonizing at 80 degrees. All jars are contamination free at this point. I shook the jars for the first time today. So hopefully in the next few days we'll see more evenly distributed mycelium growth rather than just where the spore solution was sprayed. This process should be done before the next two weeks are over with. Here are some pictures.
  
The mycelium isn't as rhizomorphic as I would like, but that can be worked out through some strain isolations later on.

having eaten some of your last batch of APE(eating more tonight, actually), i have no doubts that this grow will be fantastic. i will be taking notes cuz there are several methods here that i've never tried. looking good brother! can't wait to study these guys, too!

Did you take em? How did it turn out? Thanks man, i appreciate that! I've got a new update. Growth has been faster than expected since the last shake. I am going to do one more with most of these and then it should be done. a few of them aren't going very quickly as you can see in the pictures.

Thanks dude! It's too late, already shook em. I like when i shake them at this point. The white just disappears and the jars look almost like they did before i started colonization. I think that's neat.  The jars are still colonizing. AND, i have decided to restart this entire process this weekend. I think I am going to do 14 more jars and will probably use two jars to do the g2g transfers. I just want to make sure i keep this strain alive. It's wonderful and potent as fuck. But back to your comment, I was considering not shaking them too. Some of them were really dense with mycelium. But oh well. I hate to make the mycelium regenerate so many times as I have to speculate that that can't be beneficial. but idk.

that last one isn't very clear but you get the idea. white out! These are going into the refrigerator for now. I am going to be out of town in a few weeks, so I am hoping to have all my jars colonized before then. The new jars I have made are like 3/4 of the way full. i put in too much. There are 14 of them as well. I may dump some of them out when i do the G2g, which may be tonight or tomorrow. Probably tomorrow night.
There's not too much action going on other than that. This part of the process is ridiculous. not too exciting. Thanks for stopping by!

thanks fellas! I did a grain to grain transfer tonight. I had to dump out some of the grain from some of the jars. They were simply too full. It was a pain to break up the mycelium of the jars i used. They are definitely all fully colonized. I used two colonized jars to colonize the other, new, 14 jars. So now there are 26 jars total. Let's hope there are no contams in this new group. I get real nervous about doing these g2g transfers.

Last night I agitated most of the jars. They were probably 30% done. Today there's new growth already. All jars are contamination free!!!! I'm a happy camper! the next thing I have to worry about is keeping the heat up for the tubs. I'll do four tubs at a time i think. got some stack n view's for this project.

Thanks for the comments gents! I've had the jars in the fridge. I took out a few that had not yet fully colonized the other night and put them in the cabinet to incubate a bit more. I'm probably going to let them colonize all week then see where we are friday. The earliest I think I will do the spawn run will be middle of next week. But there will be pictures! i'm free of contaminants up to this point too!
