Hempy Buckets and PH?

About 3-5 weeks ago, I planted some clones into hempy buckets using a 3:1 mix of perlite and vermiculite. A few days ago I noticed some yellowing on the leaves and decided to check the run off. I generally water with a nute solution at a PH 5.8-5.9 , but the run-off is returning a reading of 6.4PH.
After doing some research, I'm assuming that the vermiculite is causing the PH to climb. My question is, short of removing the media, and re-potting in pure perlite, what would be the best approach here? Could I deal with the issue by possibly lowering my nute solution to a ph of 5.4, or would there be a better approach?
thanks for any assistence
