Thing is that they are all a little temperamental in their own ways, but with enough fucking around they can all be installed and ran.

Any genre you prefer?

What games do you like?

This is just a general thread for everyone.

I like a wide variety of games

The point of this thread is to provide links to torrents that dont require fucking around with them to get them to work. It's for easy install games. install and play-type.

whatever you have downloaded, tested, and want to share.

I have a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops I will be testing out later to see if it works.

when u are selecting torrents for games just make sure they are iso's. then get alcohol 120 or demon tools (i think it is what it is called) or another program that lets u make virtual drives. mount the iso onto the virtual drive and install with proper cd key(cd keys are what gets me not to be able to play cous most of them i need to refined or some junk) and you should be good to go. the only time i have a problem is if they did not make the iso with the proper programs to get rid of the security codes within the cd. tho i havent dl a game in a while i think my buddy is still doing it this way.

Also what OS and CPU you are using matters. Trying to install older games onto Vista/7 may require extra bullshit to get it working, like wise with dual/quad/etc core processors.

Also make sure you are running the current version of the game, not all torrents are current. This might require finding a newer crack depending on what kind of DRM the game uses.

Very few "sick" games are download, install, and play

But to add something to this thread, this is what I've been playing recently:

http://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2539195/5126395/

Specially with a WW2 Mod. Hitler FTW.

I've had every problem getting it to play, so if anyone has any trouble with it, I can probably help. Otherwise you will have to scour the interwebs for help.

My comp might be able to run Civ 5 but I've yet to DL it and give it a go.

Exactly, looking for games that are basic .iso files

Dont mind having to follow a little instruction. But the main point is to get games that WORK and are bug-free.

Play some Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

As for a working torrent I don't know of any as I have had the game for a long ass time, but usually browsing through the comments will give you a good indication to whether the torrent is even worth downloading.  Demonoid has most games you could want and the comments help with installation and the likes.  Also, choosing the files that have been downloaded the most can be a good start to check for validity.

you can probably find yourself a modded xbox on craigslist for under 100 bucks, after that just burn the iso's and play them from a cd or ftp them to your hard drive via crossover cable or cat 5 cable, i have heard you can also run them from a 360's hard drive but never done that myself

same thing with the ps2 just mod the mem card and burn your iso's you can also run them from a ps2 hd but you would need a fat ps2, or if your computer has enough prossesing power you can just use a ps2 emulator, psx emulation can be done with pretty old computers if you wish to relive some nostalgic times

Hmm.... More and more reasons to get a 360.. Even if I don't have money for many games I'll have ages of entertainment to burn through from the old Xbox games I love.. Wish I knew someone with more experience with this type of stuff, lots of questions.
