Not like you can't breed or focus on all 4, but which ones do you think are the most important and why?
Personally I focus on high, which seems to be linked to looks and smell predominately. But then again I have bud that makes you more high then some of these GDP or whatever nug's and it has more trisomes.

Wellllll ya can but it would be a huge pain in the ass to try and do it at one time. (plus you'd need to go threw a half a million plants)
I'd have to say (Just my opinion)
1. High
2. Smell
3. Taste
4. Looks (In most cases if you have one of the others this comes along with it. Like I said in most cases not every)

Look and taste can be switched around however. Smell being last, because IMO its the least that contributes to the actual smoking.

I don't see why anyone would put the potency of their buds below anything else. You can have the tastiest, stakiest, herb ever but if it doesn't get you high who fucking cares? Looks are the least important to me, but is a big factor when you're buying your buds.

I feel like they're all pretty intrinsically related to be honest. If your plant is super potent, it's probably going to look AWESOME because it usually takes a bunch of trichomes to get the potency that high. If your plant smells great, then it'll probably taste great too and vice versa.
I have to admit I put a lot of weight on how it looks cause my friends are stupid stoner slobs sometimes and when I whip out an ugly bud that gets them super baked they're happy but if I whip out a gorgeous nugget that gets them super baked then they practically have heart attacks of joy.

I like taste, high, smell, looks in that order... one there's Sooooo many flavors to pick from...its just my opinion but I think the high from certain strains whether it be indica or sativa is for the most part predictable and not very surprising... but hey, I love a good skullcrusher.

When I see a good nug, I immediately want to test its flavor, I already know its gonna get me high if I smell it across the room.
