better that than loose the whole plant, just wish she could have densed up a bit more but with the lack of sun we've been having i don't think it was going to happen anyway.

bud rot was already starting to happen and with this whole next week supposed to be pissing down rain and cold and windy, it was definitely time to pull her. there was no way she was going to make it all the way through the heart of winter, not with it getting down to 34F and being wet all the time. i really would have liked to let her sit for another week at least, but it was either harvest or risk losing the entire plant.

I was just thinking to keep an eye on it when the rain takes a break and watch for mold/rot, it could have maybe acted like a soil flush for the plant, and then you got the extra time for the swelling/weight.

i would have loved to do that, except it's been raining on and off (more on than off) for the past 3 1/2 weeks. that combined with very little direct sunlight and temps in the low 30's is just not good.
