lmao. On your side of the pond the baked beans the same as american? You don't mix egg and beans on your toast do you? I can see that causing some serious gas! My favorite soup for grilled cheese is between tomato basil and french onion depending on the kind of cheese.

Since we're on the subject of soup, has anyone tried cream of broccoli soup? It is delicious! I just had some the other day in a bread bowl. That has got to be my personal favorite. I wouldn't dip a grilled cheese sandwich in it though.

Homemade Beef stew, with onions and potatoes and tomatoes and shit in it with a peanut butter sandwich. Once again, must be dipped or you will be prosecuted.

I dig homemade beef stew with potatoes, carrots, and onions... But, I don't know about dipping a PB sandwich in there haha I'm not a big fan of peanut butter though.

I dunno, maybe it's just the recipe. It's an old one from like my great grandma I think, but the soup is fuckin chronic, and for some reason, a peanut butter sammich makes it even better

Some of you people have the weirdest appetites.
When I was a kid me and my brother's loved Chicken flavored Ramen with crackers. Sometimes we wouldn't even make it we'd just eat the noodles dry. A lot of people found that strange. Personally I always thought chocolate milk in cereal was strange but the kids at my school really dug it. Always looked like diarrhea and fruit loops to me.

I fucking hate tomato soup. I love grilled cheese and soup, but something about tomato soup is terrible to me. I've only ever had it from a can. Maybe its a completely butchered version of home made, but blech, I hate all the tomato soup I've ever tried.
Edit: After actually reading the thread, it seems you guys used to feel the same. Shit, maybe I should try it again. Maybe the recipe got changed or its better to adult tastebuds. I'm sure I have some from when my ex lived here. Does soup go bad?
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

it takes a long time for soup to go bad but even if the soup is still good it winds up tastings like the can.
Also I don't see how dipping some cheese and bread into soup is weird. it's like putting crackers in your soup or mopping up the broth with a piece of beard

Do you strain the soup back into your mouth when you finish?

You can never go wrong with cheese and bread, however you make it. Soup on the side is the perfect complement.

Homemade bread and soup. Cost effective, as healthy as you want it to be, very rewarding
