I have pots with only 4 holes at the bottom, and the rascals still find their way out.
But that looks like its going to be escaping quite a bit

Looks like a healthy happy root system to me. You maybe ready to transplant again soon if you would like even. I always have roots hanging from my pots, to the point some times I have to trim up the roots in my veg rooms after reaching their final pots.

Is that a netpot? Used for deep water culture? Netpots are usually mesh on the sides too though.
At least these pots will drain quickly.

No mesh on the sides, but I did think that these were more suited to DWC. That's why I made this post.
I was kinda pissed because at the hydro store I was so ridiculously indecisive on choosing the pot. There were 3 different variations on the size.
The guy knew we were buying a huge bag of coco and a huge bag of soil and I figured he would have offered some assistance. He said they are all the same. As long as it all works out OK in the end, whatever.
It's amazing that these were just transplanted about 9 days ago and the plants are going wild.

I get all my pots for plants from the rich people neighborhood a town or two over from my house. In the spring time they throw them away by the 1000's.

I wonder why people don't reuse their vast collect of pots.

Because people are lazy and don't care. They feel its easier to buy something new than to re-use what they already have. its a product of a self-indulgence and instant-gratification, something it seems this entire country suffers from, for the most part...

That, and, I think its because they buy flowers and junk in pots, then put them in the ground...then throw away the pots. Ya know, rather than do it themselves, they just buy the flowers pre-grown in pots.

More holes=excellent drainage and that means happy healthy roots. They sell the same pots at my local grow shop. Although i really want try them out i never end up getting them cuz i grow outside and im afraid I'll fuck up the root since im always moving them around. I get these ones that are similar but have little rubber feet on the bottom so its elevated off the ground. But anyway you got the right pots for the job.
What does you medium consist of?
