hear is a side by side with a 50/50 mix of cow shit and mushroom compost mixed at 3 cups to 4 cups of peat moss with %20 perlite in the over all mix this mix ratio brought the medium to a ph of 6.3 when tested with solution at 6.4!!!
and the competition , pro mix bx with a micro organism they add to it,the bx pic is on the left ,and you can see the results, so far the bx took off much faster then the compost mix !

what i have noticed is the pro mix seems a little more prone to ph fluctuations some of the bottom leaves are showing symptoms well the compost mix is not ,but to note the compost is a little slower growing then the pro mix ,but seems more stable ph wise ,hope this helps people ~ and i am going to try a mix of the composts and the pro mix with some of my cuttings ~
