I just asked this at the Shroomery, but I thought I'd ask here too. This year I want to grow completely organically. I always have shit-loads (pun fully intended) of exhausted h. poo compost substrate, would that bring anything to the table? Like nitrogen or phosphorus or anything?
Thanks a lot!

Any potash (potassium) in there? Anything that might help?

well it would be a wonderful substrate, you would just have to add nutrients throughout the grow. search around for growing in CoCo coir or other inert substrates... treat it basically like that
That's great advice, but if all I can use it for is a substrate, I think I'll just keep spreading it outside with fresh compost and keep my fingers crossed for a few extra shrooms instead lol.
