Im trying to stay true to my organic growing medium. I extracted Phosphorus from my miracle grow but i was wondering what organic waste materials i could use to get similar results ie: Strawberry tops for nitrogen.

uh, well, if you want waste there's no better waste then guano! Can't beat good ol' bird shit for organic nutrients. Do some research on the different types of guano and recipes for soils and teas. It should be exactly what you're looking for.

thanks for your input. Would mixing non citrus fruit scraps like strawberry tops and shredded mango peel be a wise choice?

Keep that shit in your compost pile. I wouldn't mix in any organic matter that isn't easily soluble in water. You're just asking for molds and pest infections.

nice. i saw a few different kinds of guano ranging from 10 to 20 dollars. Guess im goin for the good shit. Im almost into flowering, as ive just started a steady night cycle of about 10 hours. My plant is god bud and its just over a month old. Since im ready to flower what elements are the plants going to use more of. The plant has been vegetative in a nitrogen rich horse poo mixture with earthworm castings and verm. And im trying to incorporate more nutes for her to help her flower healthy.

If this is the question you want answered then you need to switch to a nutrient regiment that's higher in P+K. I'd feed your plants veg nutes in the first two weeks of flowering to provide them extra N for the stretch and to use up during flowering. After that switch up to something that has a low percentage (or 0%) of N and higher ratios of P+K.

AHH im in the middle of a grow and im forced to quit smoking. but a better job is enough of a compensation for that. Maybe by then i'll be budding and ready to cure!

I have been using my hpoo left overs as well from my shroom grows.It works good! It has lots of nitro in it, like cow poopy. Wood ash is a good additive for flowering. These nuts need broke down over time but will work well for instant nuts suppliant in tight situation's. If you haven't watched kog's outdoor grow you are missing out.

we've all been there, responsibility is a PITA sometimes but a better life for you is worth more then smoking a bowl. I had to take a forced year off, it sucked for sure but it was better then spending 5-10 in jail.

Things my father said to me that never hit home until I struck out on my own.
1.) Life is not fair, will never be fair, so get used to it
2.) Life is tough, so be tougher
3.) if you expect respect be the first to show it, especially to yourself
The first two never made sense to me until I realized I was really on my own. However, once I realized what he was saying to me it made dealing with issues much easier. Getting strip searched and spending night in county is frightening, but nothing is more frightening then realizing you may have just hosed your professional career. But having a defeatist attitude about it only produces a negative result, if I truly believed my career was over it would have been. So I sucked it up, put down the bowl, pissed in a cup, and graduated from school. Out of the twenty people in my graduating class (small population in my major) I was one of three people who landed a job. Next to receiving my diploma getting the job offer was one of the most gratifying, and relieving, feelings of my life.
Good luck man, first couple of days are rough but each one gets easier after that. Plus when you do get back to it you'll be amazed at how strong the high is again. My first bowl after my break left me literally hallucinating and the bud was only a high quality mid-grade.

haha. You both, althought polar opposites, are right. I know im not going to change the world, but for the time being, im going to change my life. And after my first few paychecks and im sittin on a fat bank roll, i can finally afford that grow room that i can picture in my head.
Its peoples negativism that keeps them from wanting to understand, or their lack of knowledge that says theres only one way to live.
