Funny thing is I think the taste of DMT is damn close to the taste of crack. Still, wouldn't want to mix the two.

I remember reading a story here (or the shroomery) of a guy who got his shit broken into and had his DMT stash stolen. He thought it was a bunch of junkies who, he thought, probably thought it was meth. that would have been an epic realization to have seen.

I think pure DMT has a distinct flavor... if you've ever smoked a higher quantity of certian JWH compounds, the flavor is similar, but much much stronger.
However, the first time I smoked it, it did remind me of crack a little.

When I was living in a not so awesome neighborhood with some roommates I didn't trust, I worried that this would happen, until I realized that if someone DID mistakenly steal it... it would almost be worth it.
I can tell you, for sure, that sniffing a big rail of DMT freebase is pretty painful, then pretty effective.
