you can use your butane over and over and over with no loss
its about 1300 dollars but i imagine if you are a grower you could pry make make your $ back in time with $ saved from not having to purchase butane ever again
pretty damn expensive compared to a $10 pvc rig but pretty fuckin sweet just the same

Very interesting, but my god does it have a prohibitive cost barrier. 1300 bucks is a lot of money for something that only processes 2.5 ozs per run. Yah, you can recycle your butane a little easier, but it takes an hr to do that? I'm sure the commercial growers would like this if it had a much larger butane tank to use. For the home hobbyist I'd say this is overkill unless you're filthy rich. You can build a distillation setup and recycle hexane for next to nothing if you really want to re-use your solvent.
I dunno, while I definitely appreciate it for what it is I don't see too many closet growers buying this thing.

they also have one that is completely computer operated that'll do 5lbs of plant matter at a time.
i would love to make one of these. just wish i knew how to weld.haha

It's probably not much cheaper but you can always hit up local machine shops to do work for you if ya need.

ya u dont think there is much welding on those. all machined and looks very high quality. I really dunno if you could make something comparable at 900 unless you knew someone to do it cheap. even then would take alot of tinkering with it to get everything to work properly/safely. To find someone who would make that for you and actually know what there doing and garuantee it would cost ya some bucks im sure. But again thats just my experience with machine shops, maybe someone who knows a bit more about costs could chime in.
Very slick unit though

Oh, the cost would be unbelievably more expensive then buying a premade unit. You would being paying for labor, R+D, Materials etc.
I work in a machine shop pretty much, those guys can make some amazing shit.
