I'd love to venture out that way. From what I've seen its very beautiful, and the country is more relaxed about psychedelics compared to the US.

The cactus itself consists of a root system, from which grows the buttons which you eat. If you cultivate it yourself more rapid growth can be achieved, but you're still looking at about 3 years until maturity. San pedro just seems like an easier route.

Doesn't bulking up peyote fast just result in a larger amount of water weight, but no real gain in alkaloids?
