yellowing on new growth points to a problem with an immobile element within your nutrients. The problem looks like to be a Fe deficiency. This may be a result of too high of a Ph. If anything an application of a micro nutrient formula, and maybe a flush if your Ph is off, should help fix the problem.

Some more info would be helpful too...

what nutes are you using?
strength?
Feeding/watering interval?
How long has this problem been occurring?
What areas of the plant(s) are being affected?

what nutes are you using?

I am using general hydro program just started first week of flowering:

Flora Micro - 5 mls
Flora Gro - 2 mls
Flora Bloom - 8 mls
Monsta Bud - 20 mls
Grozyme - 4 mls

No Superthrive used per feeding program in first 2 weeks of flowering, pH adjusted to 6

strength?

above per gallon

Feeding/watering interval?

Feeding every time. About to do a flush

How long has this problem been occurring?

Mostly since planting them in the coco, but more severe since changing light to 12/12.

What areas of the plant(s) are being affected?
Mostly the new growth a the top of the plant. Moved the light higher, but still isn't working.

Your pH is too high for coco. Drop your pH down to 5.5, coco likes it pretty low. If you are using a digital pH meter don't forget to calibrate it. One guys gives his 5.2 with no problems. I had pretty much the exact same problem, I had yellowing plants and it was because I was giving them 6 pH, and then switched to 5.5 and they greened up and blew up big after about a week. The good thing about coco is it flushes easily.

It could be a magnesium deficiency as well as an iron deficiency. I think the main difference is that iron deficiency starts to show on the new growth whereas magnesium shows from the bottom up. I guess if the lower parts of the plant really are unaffected then its simply an iron deficiency, and the pH is probably a little high for coco, but if you aren't using coco-specific nutrients, they might not be getting enough magnesium. I don't know enough about those nutrients but it might be worth looking into. Fixing the pH is probably the best step to take right now though, as already mentioned.

Thanks guys, I did a really thorough flush last night.
I will lower the pH to 5.5 next time I feed.

Fingers crossed :potleaf:

I think an explanation is in order as to why you aren't running a grow log.

I'm embarrassed :smilingpuppy:

I only like to show off when things are going well.

I know it's selfish, other people can learn from my mistakes.

I should quit being such a pussy...

Well fuck it, my plants are still fucked.

I trashed them all and am going back to peat.

I hardly ever give up, but this time I concede.

did you flush the coco before placing your plants in them?  My guess is still towards a Ph problem with your medium.  I didn't know about washing the coco either until recently.  So if you forgot to do this flush, which seems to be essential, your grow was probably doomed from the start lol.

Sorry about your loss :frown:

:frown:

Any pics of what you trashed?

You should start a grow log, just real-time, not only when things go well!
