Hi Guys. Been lurking for some time now learning all i can on here about growing as iv's dumped the dealer because pretty much fed-up getting homei crap of late.

After thinking i was off to a good start it seems now i may have some issues with my grow. I have 7 Killer Skunk @ 31 days of veg and plan to put into flower at 40 days old under a parablic shade with a 600w hps lamp.

Iv'e got some leaves that are browning on a cpl of plants that i thought maybe due to water spillage, However today i noticed that the fan leaves further up the stem are also browning. Iv'e been advised on another forum that the plants maybe cold and are not necessarily suffering Nute burn or N def.

More info to help with diagnosis:
19th Dec. Re-potted (from seedling pots)into 6inch pots, Sprinkle light coating of PM Granules at root base. watered with Ph7 snow melt.
24TH Dec gave a light boost foliar spray.
26th Dec. Fimmed
29th Dec. Re-potted into 14ltr pots, sprinkle of PM granules at bottom of root base and water with Ph7 tempered room temp snow melt.
2nd Jan. Watered with Ph7 room temp rain water and 1ml/ltr PM boost.

The pics are not of a good quality but hopefully good enough for some OF the more experienced growers to make out what may be going on here.

Many thanks in advance.

Mrk

I dont have time to read over everything right this second, but can tell you your PH is a little too high. You should water with 6.5 ph water. Also, check the ph of the run off from the pot it is planted in, I bet it is much higher then 7, which is probably what is causing the mag and nit. lockout.

Hi and thanks so much for your input. After reading your post i look a Ph reading from the bottom of the pot with a PH prong tester, it read 1. I have a feeling that is not good?

Thanks for the info on lowering my water Ph, They'll be getting 6.5 from now on..

Is there anything i can do to put things right?

Many thanks.

Also, do you know the PPM of your tap water? You should try to use distilled but if you have to use tap which is fine in some places and not so much in others, at least let the water sit in the open for 24-36 hours to let the chlorine evaporate. You can use tap water with no problems but I like to use distilled.
Try and keep the PH of the SOIL between 6.3 to 6.8 If your run off is too high or too low you can Try to change it by using ph adjusted water, but most likely the problem is in your soil and you need to buffer it with something or change it out with better soil.

If your soil really is at ONE, or even ten for that mater I would change soil as fast as possible because that is beyond repair without harming or killing the plants.

Thanks for the input and advice guys..

I'm afraid i gave the wrong information when i said the Ph level of the soil was reading ONE, in-fact its reading 700ppm ph is 7. I got a little confused as its a duel reader duel pronged gadget, and the fact i been toking on some outstanding Psychosis most of the evening.. lol so pls except my apologies for the error...

I normally let water stand at room temp for around 2 or 3 days before watering so to temper and allow any chlorine to evaporate. I do have easy access to Rain water run-off if that is going to be better for them?

I did a thorough check on all the plants this eve and found that some are just begining to show early signs of leave browning.

Any idea's how i can overcome this issue? I'm thinking maybe i should flush and foliar spay so to get some nutes into them?

Many Thanks.
