Hello all Mango Strain ph 6.0 400 watt hps for 3 days now before it was T5 for 3 weeks (8000 lumens) 18 hours of light/6 hours dark great root growth/fast growth all around I forgot to top off for evaporated h2o for 3 days now, just corrected
The new growth on 2 to 3 of my 4 plants are bleached out in center but edges and tips are green, the rst of the plant looks very healthy. I will try and post a pic but I have been having problems. Thanks in advance PS-I updated the picture I do hope it is better,I think it may be a nitrogen deficency I sprayed a light concentration of miracle grow and it got greener but you can still see the color difference. I was only giving a water from the hydro every 3 hours for 15 minutes maybe that was not enough.WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Fyi I just measured it and its 27 inches away from the HPS. I was afraid of the change from lower lights to higher lights so I kepted it pretty far away

First off I am using General Hydro 3 part nutes. I might have gone alittle heavy but you tell me.Its got 14 tsp for seedlings/1 tsp for mild veg/and 3 tsp per gallon for active veg I used the 3 tsp x 18 gallons.?? Also the plants are 3 weeks old look very healthy but seem a little small-only 6 inches with lots of growth but small to me?? PH is 6.3 I just recalibrated the ph pen,ppm is 1360 ppm with ro water which started out at 2ppm...I was looking through the site and the only pic that seemed to llok like what I have is the zinc deficency?/Also all the plants dont seem to have the coloring of the pic I put but they all seem to be stunted"BUT again I am a newbie and stunted might not be the issue.
I sprayed with some folar nitrogen seem to help but not alot. I was thinking of cutting the nutes in HALF but I need someone with experience to chime in. I dont want to mess this up.It was all going so nicely and now I am afraid of spinning out of control(GRIN)
I would sincerely appreciate help asap. Sorry for all the email. Next time I will give all the info in my first one like I should have done.
Thanks

I would guess maybe its sulfur or iron because it looks like it started from the base and moved towards the tip. Yes I think iron.

Is it a deficency or an overage? What can I do about it? Is it something that can be cleared up swiftly without hurting the plants?
Thanks

Made some corrections please let me know if this is correct..
Swapped out tub of nutes lowered nutes down to approximately 700 ppm 1/2 of what the stength was , ph lowered from 6.3 to 5.9 and made sure that the plant medium was no longer saturated with the nutes from the old batch. Now I play a waiting game.
Does that sound good. Please feel free to share. I want to make sure I get it right.
Also one last question will this hurt anything long term, this is just 3 weeks into it at this point??

Sorry, I have never grown hydro. I can't tell you if its a lock out or it just is not getting any? Do your nutes have all the trace nutes like Iron?

I'd say its getting locked out. I use the flora series and usually I use 6 tsp's but I am almost 2 weeks into flower. I tried using the agressive growth mix once and ended up burning my plants. 6 tsp's at a 2/2/2 mixture gives me about 800-900 ppm which at your stage looks to be a bit too much flush then feed with ph'd nutrient solution with lower doses.

I lowered the ppm to 420 and went down to 1/2 tsp per gallon. I am hoping this does the trick but one question how will I know when to raise it higher and by how much?
thanks to all who helped me out I hope it does the trick?

Even though plants are the same species and pheno their nutrient needs can be far different. Its 8 inches tall? I'd say that 700 might be a little to much but give it a try and if it doesn't burn at all then your fine. The other plants are probably just hardier and don't mind the higher nute levels. With hydro changes in the plants happen much quicker because there is no "Buffer" like the soil is for soil growers. I'd say give it a few more days and if new growth still looks bad time to try something else. Goodluck and nice looking plants

Hello everyone, Things are looking much better, just about one full day has passed but the new leaves are almost looking the way they are supposed to. I would GUESS one more day left and we will be back to normal.
This was my fault triing to rush things along.
