Will post pics soon. Received this as a gift about four months ago. Currently in a 3-gal pot (re-potting in 10 gal shortly) and she just started blooming in mid-December. Only gets about 45 minutes of direct sunlight...mostly ambient light. Feeding w/ rhizo and occasional canna coco nutes.
Cool. Glad i read the article. I'm surprised that they do not know exactly what it is (they obviously have not mapped the genome yet). I was under the impression before that the "improved" variety was a different fruit, not just a disease free version of the old ones.
Also- im pretty sure there is an error in the wiki article. You cannot grow most fruit producing trees from seed, and the article says "A tree grown from seed usually begins fruiting in four years". I think the way lemons are grown is a seed is sprouted and then a branch from an existing tree with better genes is grafted onto it (you can also do a regular clone or air layering).
