 3.5x3.5 closet w/ air cooled hood...HPSorCMH?? Seperate T5 for Veg...

Hi Everyone
Building my first 2 rooms, gonna have a 3.5x3.5 closet in basement w/ 8" Magnum and 737cfm inline can-fan for flower...and will have a separate veg room w/ a T5 setup. I just have a few questions on lights.
Im growing 12 plants perpetual 4-6 in/out and cant decide which light setup would be better:
(a) 4ft 4 bulb t5 for veg room and 400w CMH for flower.
or
(b) 4ft 2 bulb bulb T5 for veg and and a 600 HPS for flower about the same wattage.
Also is a 4ft 4bulb T5 enough light to veg 4-6 plants to be 18 inches or so tall???

You should get a 600w HPS and a 400 MH

Because it's mainly a veg light. HPSs are much better for flowering plants.

CMH's have a pretty wide spectrum of light. They work very well for flowering and burn cooler than HPS lights so they can be dropped down closer to the canopy.
I would not say HPS are much better than CMH even for flowering.

Thanks, I am really surprised where I work doesn't use them because they are the top horticulture research company in the world.
