SO I GUESS THE FEDS AND COPS RAIDED THE MEDICAL SHOPS TODAY , I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY TRY AND ARREST PEOPLE WHEN ITS A LEGAL LAW? ANYWAY FIGURED I'D POST THIS TO SEE IF ANYONE HAD ANY INFO ON THIS F'D UP SUBJECT.

ya its messed up man,my local shop got raided and they busted the windows took all the green , tvs, computers and files. the shop really had there stuff together too.

Lt. Chavez told they press they would sell to "anyone," not just patients, but no one actually believes that. He's alluding to undercover officers gathering that data.
They recently accused another business, Dr. Reefer, of selling weed. I know they absolutely were not. They were just processing paperwork to get people the medical cards. No weed in the office whatsoever.

LV Metro has also been involved in a couple of controversial shootings recently, one of the guys had a cane. The next guy they shoot will probably be in a wheelchair. The coroner's inquest is a joke. The thugs on the police force have a license to kill and harass the public without fear of reprisal and they are going to use it.

The local cops have to make up lies about them selling to anyone off the street or selling other illegal drugs like ecstasy or coke in order to justify a medical marijuana bust. Those rumors go out in the paper right after the bust and people rarely get a chance to refute before the lies are solidified in the heads of the ignorant public. The lies might be refuted in court, but when is a follow-up ever reported? The media just wants the sensation and spectacle of the raid.
I've even seen dispensary owners who believe the lies the cops told about other dispensary owners in the newspaper. "Oh, well they must've been doing something illegal. We do everything by the books here." Yeah.... It's only a matter of time until you're busted and the cops are telling the same lies about you.
In Vegas they are setting it up so they keep protest signs in the trunk of their car and there is a phone tree, so that whenever someone gets raided, all MMJ enthusiasts get a text message & email of the location so they can head over as soon as possible to show the other side of the issue and take some of the limelight off the police, who are trying to play themselves off as heroes. If interested in getting involved, look for the Las Vegas Americans for Safe Access on Facebook. I believe their next meeting is on December 18. They are a new group that has been meeting every couple weeks or so and growing quickly in popularity. The old medical marijuana groups in Vegas have merged with them, so to speak.
