The search for a rare strain...

I came across an older post from a breeder at another site who is now banned for going against the grain too much. As it turns out, he had a knack for calling out breeders who cut corners and cause growers to be stuck with the consequences. I guess the people who make $$$ off the forum don't like it when you mess with their revenue stream.
Anyway, the dude is a caregiver that created a couple strains that were some of the most beautiful plants I had ever seen. One strain in-particular, "DEADWOOD" stuck out above the rest.
Any info on this strain, or the whereabouts to get a hold of it would be greatly appreciated.

Most breeders (if you want to call them that. They are more just pollen chuckers) don't take the time to test their own product before releasing it. Not a lot of em take the time to try and stabilize traits in their strains either.

Apparently he worked on this strain for years... instead of creating them every 3 months.

Are there really many strains on the market today that will only give off one strong and stable phenotype?

Nope. When ya want something that will pretty much give what the description says exactly has to be a IBL. Skunk #1, Bubble Gum, AF#1 and so on are all IBL's.
