When I stir in my CNS17, instead of dissolving into the water, it just breaks up into little white clumps that eventually settle on the bottom of the container. Is this how it's supposed to be?
Into filtered water. I stirred for a pretty long time, and it still hadn't dissolved. I'm worried about this throwing off the ph readings, and also, those clumps seem to pour out of the container first, so the plants getting watered last would seem to get fewer nutes. Weird that more people haven't had this issue...

There's a possibility that your nutrients were stored less than properly at one point and that is the reason for this. I'd contact the mfg but personally I'd assume that is the case and dilute the nutrients to a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio in near boiling water ~190F then just apply twice or three times the amount. Hopefully this would fix the problem, this is the instructions that GH gives on their bottles when mass precipitation occurs due to getting frozen or something.
I spoke to someone at the hydro store I bought it from, and he said the CNS17 "Grow" specifically sometimes does this and it should be okay. He said just mix it in as best as possible. It basically ends up with lots of little pulp-like bits floating around.
I did send an e-mail to Botanicare to see what they have to say...
