Sorry to resurrect and old topic but I couldn't find quite enough information. I'm currently on 18/6 cycle, watering every two hours for seven minutes except at night. Do I reduce watering when I switch the lights or do I compensate by increasing water/dwell times during daylight hours. I have a flood and drain system, 3" net pots with hydroton. Thanks for any ideas.
Just brainstorming but my guess would be increase feeding and durations during light period to compensate for the greater darkness of no water/nutes and also to give the flowering plants more nutes/water that they need to fill out bud etc.
