Finally, I've gotten seeds and a tent ordered!!!
Ordered a cheap 4x4 tent for 100 bucks, and a 5-pack of Swiss Cheese seeds from Nirvana seeds. I'm going to veg out a few mothers, and then do a SoG in the tent.
Next week I'll be ordering a 600 watt light and a 4" scrubber and fan to go with these.

When i went to order some swiss cheese seeds it said they were out of stock 
I guess i'll just order some ice and bubbleicious seeds

I'll definitely make a grow-log. I'm really excited about these, because I am going to get to do the grow any way I want this time (up to 30 plants). I think we're going to do a SoG till we can pay for this equipment and then buy a larger tent and light to do a nice ScroG.
How big of a light should I use for the mothers when I move them out of the tent for the SoG? Would a 400 watt ceramic metal hallide be overkill? I have a cubby that I'm going to move them into, since they don't need a light-proof room...

The tent came in the mail yesterday!!!!
I set it up and all the parts were there. Then only complaint I have is that the end of one of the zippers isn't sewed into the rest of the fabric, and so if the top left-hand side gets unzipped too far, it'll come undone.
Other than that, for $120 including shipping, it's a hella good tent.

So, after a few financial setbacks, we've finally ordered a light system. It's a 3.5' x 3.5' hood with both a mh and a hps 1000 watt bulb, a digital ballast, hangers and a timer. All for less than 375!!! Next week we'll get an fan and scrubber online to go with it, and we'll have all the really expensive things out of the way...
I think tomorrow we'll go get some soil, a ph tester, and some rock wool. We should be able to germinate here in a few days, too...
Keep your eyes open for the grow journal. It'll be titled Swiss cheese 1 k watt grow tent w/soil....
