this is my first run with ebb & flow so i was testing the waters with the nutrient concentrations. i wanted to see how much they could take & apparently they weren't ready for 1200 ppm, so you will notice some leaf curl in the more sensitive plants (blueberry, grapefruit x skunk #1). the durban, northern light, & burmese kush seem to have accepted the high concentration but there was some slight tip burning.
since i caught the nutrient burn in time, you will notice the leaves curled but did not yellow off & die. i have since backed down th concentration to 900-950ppm including the PK13/14. since i am later in flower, the nutrient base (hesi coco formula) has been kept to a moderate feeding while i have been increasing the PK slightly higher each week.
i've noticed a lot of companied such as house and garden as well as cana also level out the base nutrients & increase the pk & not the base too.
the burmese kush - this plant has a slight hint of fruityness with a very heavy kush scent. i think this one is possibly going to run 65 days even though thseeds claims harvest in 52-55
Grapefruit x skunk #1 - this plant has stretched a lot more than i remembered. i guess growing it outdoors, height wasn't a concern of mine. the smell is amazingly grapefruit zest like when you first cut into a grapefruit. slight skunk hint in the background but mainly grapefruit. seems to have about 5 weeks left so i'm going to run it to 9 weeks & see where i'm at
durban - durban is from african seeds. it is done between 7-8 weeks depending on when in the harvest window you like to take it. i'm a fan of taking it a bit later. scent is very licorice. i'm not a fan of the smell or taste but the smoke is very strong & uplifting so i enjoy it.
bubblegum... i have 2 bubblegums & 1 seemed to have just stopped growing. the other is growing a decent cola but nothing extremely impressive. smells sweet like bazooka joe or maybe big league chew. slight hint of piney afghani in the background. i think that is due to the seeds being from serious & whatever they did to the clone from indiana to preserve it in seed for.
blueberry - blueberry has been a picky eater... it's hard to gauge what to feed them along with the other plants on the table as well. if i run this again i will run it with a full table of it so i can feed them properly so those damn leaves won't curl up.
northern light - nl smells kinda musky, kinda citrus, yes skunky or crouton like. amazing smell... it's taking a bit longer to catch up with the other girls but it's making some nice improvements. didn't really freak out when i bumped up the nutrients.

no, i'm not a fan of auto flowering plants because IME they have little to no potency. I'm not saying there aren't some good ones cuz i haven't tried them all, but my opinion on them is very low.
Question, about how much did all the supplies and stuff run you to build your ebb and flow. I've been looking into making one but I wanna gauge how much I gotta dump into it before its workable.
the wood only cost about $40, the poly was roughly $10, the rez is a sterlite container, was about $10, 2 submersible pumps about 16-25 each, drain fittings were like 10... the hose was a dollar a foot.
