I have a friend whos really into this stuff. If you mention anything about aliens or the government, you're in for a 20 minute (minimum) conspiracy talk.
Its OK, I think its funny that hes so crazy into it. I don't mind hearing about it, and honestly, I don't doubt its true at all.
The only time I really felt bad and was like "oh god chill dude" was when we were at a concert, and there were lots of planes flying over. He was like "MAN, CHEM TRAILS!", except it was happening because we were about 5 miles away from a MAJOR airport  
But, my reaction to all these things that are beyond my control is pretty much the same:

I was into this stuff over 10 years ago when I first read a David Icke book, but I've since grown out of it since it's quackery. There are conspiracies going on, but these people have no idea what they are. They take a few generalized ideas that have been spread about the aristocracy for the last 4,000 years amongst the slaves and turn them into some sort of gay action movie trailer to put on Jewt00b.
If you want to see someone who knows what they're actually talking about on something, look up Father Malachi Martin.

Yeah, I'm sure if there were crazy conspiracies going on and huge government plot coverups, they wouldn't leave stupid fucking hints on a dollar bill.
Its like "Oh yeah, lets risk exposing our huge conspiracy plot by throwing this triangle on the back of a dollar just so it'll be like a big 'fuck you' to anyone who figures that shit out".
Not just the dollar either, all the other clues people talk about.
I once found out a conspiracy about the face cards (Kings specifically) at like 4 AM after a night of heavy heavy drinking and smoking. I figured that shit all out man. I can't remember what the hell it was today, but I knew at the time.

The conspiracies are quite mundane and always have to do with making money and concentrating power. These people are members of secret societies and elitist groups, but they are not occultists in the true sense of the word. The rituals they do are just psychodrama, a mimic of real ritual. A joke. All the real conspiracies are right out in front of your face when you translate their lies into truth. The working class and middle class are being cannibalized to the point that they are joining the poor, yet the rich are getting even more rich, while whining for tax breaks, claiming they can't afford to create jobs while getting bailed out.
That conspiracy is very easy to see. They're creating a permanent underclass... a permanently enraged underclass... and the victim will always be blamed, not the ones who are cashing in on suffering. In the eyes of civilization they can do no wrong. Violence from the top down is always hidden or justified in the media. The media always starts from a faulty base premise before presenting a story to you from two very errant sides of the debate (a debate with more than two sides). So before you even hear the news story, you accept verbatim the established "facts" surrounding the story and hear it from a place of inaccuracy and dishonesty that will shine forgiveness upon the true perpetrators.
We live in a symbolic reality where everything is spread by iconography and language. When power is concentrated and only a few people control this symbolic reality, it is very very easy to control an entire population. Their magic is the use of spectacle and the media and the education system. No aliens are benefiting from their work. Just a bunch of old, white assholes who hate you.

Also, the Catholic Church was infiltrated by Satanists and is being brought down from the inside. This is why we see so much child abuse, etc. Yet people are so mesmerized they keep sending their kids off to some clergy in funny costumes to get ass raped.

Real. This stuff goes deep real deep. When you actually look past conspiracy people etc and look at the proof. It's like a drug, you go deeper into research and deeper. Until you realize that the country we have lived in for so long, has ben engineered and built for us.
Built in such a way that it is almost to the point of falling to a pile of rubble. I think if you took a good week to look into this stuff other then a youtube video, you will find you're answer.
If we keep letting them do what they are doing we will have no Constitution let alone rights of the constitution. We will be here for one purpose and one purpose only. To work and support them. They rely on people seeing inside a box, only what is around them and in front of them. But going beyond the box, and seeing what is outside you realize that all it is, is a lie. Fabricated for the dumbed down idiots that make up half our population. It's crazy it really is, but the craziest part is that it is reality.
