I use to be all "awww, hippies are awesome. so peaceful and 'in the know'" until i saw that doc and john lennons doc on VH1 classic, the one where they explained his legal status as a citizen. Then I came to the decision that hippies were the most disgustingly, ignorant, most obnoxious no good cunts i have ever studied. Seriously the only good that came out of it was the whole "peace, love, and happiness" jazz, but their sick ass lifestyles gave the "hippie" and whatever the "hippies" stood for an aweful stigma. Sad.

Are you saying you don't think their lifestyles in a certain light look amazing?
I sure as hell know I would have a lot more fun in life if I just did drugs, had sex, listened to music, and traveled.
I know I'm helping my future with school and all, but I mean really I'd much rather be having fun.
Responsibilities for the lose.

Who wouldn't like to fuck and do drugs all day?
People who want to get shit done, and really change the world.

Hippies suck.
Hippies are the burden of society.
Also the whole thing about sports channel, you'd really rather watch something about mindless idiots who do nothing and a drug than watch something that's ACTUALLY educating?
I fucking hate you, Fractal.
ps- I know he's not in this thread, but this thread made me think of him.

I think we should start calling them the "History" Channel, with quotes. Though tonight there might technically be some kind of marijuana history attached.
Funny thing is, they used to be the Hitler Channel, where every show 24/7 seemed to be about the Nazis. Now it seems all they run are shows on 2012, MKULTRA and drugs. What is this? The government condoned paranoia channel?

With All the Focus on Marijuana right now at the present, and all the feeling of losing control of it by the Govt and police, We need to protest more than ever now while the weight is swinging in our favor. If we are going to win the fight of Legalization in our times we need to focus hard right now because the Govt will sooner or later try to win if we dont. .

Just finished watching it. Not too bad, IMO. I think they showed a pretty decent perspective of the arguments both for and against legalization, while maintaining an overall positive lighting on the plant.

yeah i especially liked how they ended it with the thought that america is supposed to be about freedom and the fundamental issue here is a repression of our freedom of choice. which imo is the best argument we have.

Exactly.
The only drugs to even think of banning are ones that cause serious problems for society. But it would have to be pretty drastic for me to support. Now, if everyone in the country got addicted to opium or something, then we might have a problem. But it's not that damn hard to still live a successful life smoking ms jane.... then again i've seen my fare share of people fuck their lives up with other shit.
This coke show is making me wanna go find some... been a damn year I think since I last had any.
