they got scopes now that are ridiculous.
they just showed a 1 mile kill shot a guy did in iraq like 5 years ago. they're about to show a 1.5 mile kill shot in afghanistan.

I think we need to fight a war on our own soil and have our own innocents slaughtered before we can realize the consequences of "our" actions. We've been so disassociated with what we consider war because hardly anyone alive remembers WWI or WWII. We, as a civilization, created many measures and decided to never repeat these travesties again, and yet here we find ourselves in the middle of a war hardly any of us even acknowledge on a daily basis.
WWII = 6 years
Iraq War = almost 7 years now with no legitimate end in sight.
WTF is going on here?

The human rights situation prior to US invasion in Iraq was downright awful. Genocide, non-existent women rights, ect... Anyone who has been following Iraq since the invasion has got to acknowledge the huge strides that have been made to bring security and stability to the country and region
On subject, that show was pretty dope

Shit, if you begin with Afghanistan then we've been at this since continually since 2001. We're going on a decade now. Maybe if the media were still allowed to show all the dead bodies then we as a people might care some more. They'd rather fear-monger us.
We started the war in Afghanistan to try and get some revenge for 9/11. The United Nations did not authorize the invasion. We got rid of the Taliban fairly quickly and then I guess decided we had more interests in Iraq and so hopped over there under the pretense of searching for weapons of mass destruction.

My friends dad is like over the largest port over there in iraq where they bring the ammunition etc and I talked to him today and his dad is being deployed for 15 months...
They have been running test runs with ships to trick the sandpeople so they don't know which one has the ammo otherwise they would blow it up and it would be a disaster...
But the point of this.....................They are bringing in enough ammunition for at least 3 more years...
So, this war is going to go another 3-7 years
