no this is NOT another movie recommendation thread.
This is a place to talk about recently viewed movies good or bad
I watch a lot of movies (at least one a week) but very few are new and hot most are not good enough to rave about and recommend endlessly but most ARE good enough to watch some rainy evening.
So if you've watched any movies lately tell us about them.

Saw The Expendables and it fucking blew my mind, if you haven't seen it you need to.
The other guys was pretty good, if your looking for a movie with lots of explosions and cheap laughs then you'll love it.

Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2
initially I avoided this movie after hearing almost unanimous negative reviews but it's that time of year so I've been searching out some scary movies
Now I'm a big Blair Witch Project fan so I'm not sure what I was expecting Obviously they couldn't pull the same stunt and expect it to have the same impact. Which is why I'm glad that the very first thing they did was expose the truth behind the reality of the first movie. After owning up to the fact that the BWP was just a movie we follow a group of kids on a tour of the movie location, that is until something happens to their film footage.
I felt the characters were a bit stereotypical at times but can be forgiven considering Hollywood's small selection of teen-aged outcasts
The music may be my favorite part of this movie. From the time the opening credits start in sync with Merlyn Manson's "Disposable Teens" you get a good idea of how loud to set your volume
The other great thing about this movie is the fan service it offers. There are hidden "stick men" everywhere as well as a few other surprises to reward the observant but it doesn't stop there the are horror movie homages from start to finish.
I'd give it a 6/10 worth watching but probably only once

Paranormal Activity A fairly new movie...
When it came out I laughed at the way they hyped it up showing clips of people in the audience screaming in terror
After some friends recommending it I decided to give it a go.... and was predictably disappointed.
Coming from someone who actually believes in ghosts, I didn't believe this movie for a second. Which was a shame because I thought they went about this movie in the right way.
4/10 I wouldn't go out of my way to watch this movie but I wouldn't avoid it all together either but there are far better things to waste your time on

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

Toy Story and INception are the only movies i want to watch. I pretty positive the others are going to be trash.

you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.

The Wizard of Gore (2007)
I never herd of this movie and it turns out it was a remake of a movie from 1970... never herd of that one either But it promises gore, Crispin Glover, and the Suicide Girls so I gave it a shot
To be honest I didn't know what to expect going in. With gore in the title I expected (and received) buckets of blood but then the story started kicking in.
My jaw is on the floor after watching but I really don't know how to explain this movie. Story wise I'd rank it with movies like "Waking Life" or "A Scanner Darkly" the plot is keeps you guessing, is thought provoking, and just might be drug induced.
