Well this writer fucked this info up, but it's not a lie, it's just twisted.

- This would be the 'roots' they are speaking of, taking roots or other various plant parts from a multitude of species (such as the Acacia) , you can use various chemicals and techniques to extract DMT into a fairly pure form. This would then be smoked for the effects. (Probably on top of a bowl or bong rip of weed)

This means they probably had a few tubs and some PF jars strewn about and a few drying on a dehydrator or something, maybe a few dried bagged up. So they were growin a few cubes also, but not very descreetly.
Sounds like these guys had their hands in all substances to turn a few bucks, not surprised they got busted.
