First grow & post

Wanted to pop in and say hello. I started my grow a while ago. Maybe end of July. (I feel dumb because I lost the little pocket calendar that I put the star in to mark when my little gals popped up. It's entirely possible that either a dog or child ate it lol) They are growing beautifully. They are under mh lights 18/6 now for about 3 weeks. I was a little slow on the draw because I was confused as to when to switch from the florescents to the mh. Anyway, the tallest is 18", 14", 13" and the small one is almost 12". I love my girlies. I swear I spend half my day running down there to talk to them and stare. Started looking for preflowers and I'm not sure if I'm seeing anything yet. I have some pics but they are all out of focus that close up. I'm going to run and buy a new camera tonight and hopefully have something to show you tomorrow or more likely late tonight after I read them their bedtime story. Yes, I am a dork.
I guess there is no real point to this post other than wanting to have somewhere to talk about this. I'm so excited!

You can start them under the mh lights right from day one. Don't do what a lot of people do including myself when they have their very first plants and love them to death by over feeding and watering.
One day you'll have something more like this.

That picture is amazing! I'm really careful not to overdo things. before i started I had read a post somewhere else where someone said that newbs rarely neglect their plants and are more likely to love them to death as you said. I just like looking and smelling. My air circulation is not as good as I'd like right now until next week when I put a new vent in there so I spend a lot of time talking, singing and reading to them as much as I can
