Manure is a common soil amendment, but you'll have to compost/age it first since fresh manure can easily burn your plants and may contain bacteria that can cause illness from contact. Look up information on composting, you'll probably want to add some straw, grass and/or wood chips to your manure pile to help it along during its aging.
You'll know its ready by its texture... it shouldn't look or feel like shit any more.
The aging process will take at least a few months.
