I recently had a housemate who had two decent sized outdoor plants going. He moved out a week ago and it became evident he was not coming back for his plants. They really did not recieve proper attention in the past couple weeks for a multitude of reason... really sad.
Anyways, remaining housemates and I made executive decision to cut them down yesterday. I'm wondering how much trimming we should do before we hang the herb to dry? Here is some pics of what I'm working with to give you all a slight idea of the task I have at hand....
sorry about the lack of quality w/ the second pic, lighting is terrible in the room we've decided to dry it in.
Was afraid of that, however, the plants would of gone to complete waste otherwise, the remaining house mates all are full time college students with jobs, wouldn't have been able to give the appropriate TLC they deserved.... Salvagable bud though??
Maybe, just hang them upside in a dark room with good air circulation until they are 75% dry, then trim and finish drying in glass jars that you have to vent several times a day.
I don't mean to hate on your product islandgrower but that shit is worthless for smoking. Dont waste you time trimming it. Just dry it out and cook it into some butter. Especially if you are in SoCal you are likely used to smoking stuff way better than how that will turn out.
